Michelle is a San Francisco native and first-generation Irish. She misses most things about SF, especially Giants baseball. After high school she decided to look into the health field, first studying dental assisting and then continuing on to dental hygiene. She completed her dental hygiene degree at Chabot College in Hayward, California, and was lucky enough to have past experience working in general, pedodontic and orthodontic offices. After working a couple of years in the Bay Area, she moved to Anchorage in 1991. Michelle has worked with Dr. Grubba on and off for 20 years. She respects and admires Dr. Grubba’s quality of dentistry and his family-oriented business. Sometimes Michelle is working alongside Dr. Grubba chairside and also at the front desk.
After her children were born she took a break from dentistry to be a full-time mom. She is parenting two teens, a son and a daughter, who keep her busy with sports and academics. During her free time, she likes to be outdoors enjoying the Alaskan life.
